A web design agency for Amsterdam founders who need to stand out in a crowded market
In Amsterdam everyone sees everything. Your customers, your investors and your future colleagues scroll past dozens of sharp brands every day, from startups in Noord to studios in the Jordaan. A beautiful site does not stand out here. Here, beautiful is the minimum.
Weblyfe was founded in 2018 in Amstelveen, Amsterdam's next-door neighbour. Since then we have built brands and websites for founders who want something other than yet another tidy template. Not by designing harder, but by digging deeper.
What Amsterdam founders ask us for
The founders who come to us usually already have a site. Sometimes even a good one. The problem is that it could just as easily belong to someone else. Their story, why they started this company and why them in particular, shows up nowhere.
So every project starts with a half-day origin session with Seyed. Seyed is Afghan-Dutch and founded Weblyfe himself in 2018. He looks for the moment your company really began. From that we build your brand in five layers, and only then the site.
Built for companies that grow fast
A scale-up changes every quarter. New proposition, new market, a team that doubles. A site on a closed platform slows that down. So we build custom in Next.js on Vercel: fast, easy to find and fully yours. Your own developers can simply keep building on it later.
And because growth usually stalls on follow-up rather than design, we build the system behind it too:
- Messaging: WhatsApp, email and chat in one system, so no lead slips through the cracks
- Automations: Clark AI operators for intake, follow-up and invoices
- A brand document new colleagues and agencies can use on their own
- Code and content that belong to you, with no platform lock-in
For the creative scene: restraint is a choice too
Not every brand needs to shout. Artist Berend Strik, whose stitched photography is held in collections including the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, needed a digital home that speaks to serious collectors. We chose exclusivity and calm, so the work itself does the talking.
For Vanessa Nantes, a premium womenswear brand for the ambitious professional woman, we built a complete brand from positioning to a slow fashion platform. We helped Boooth stop being seen as photo booth rental and start being seen as a strategic tool for corporate branding at events.
How we work together
No account managers, no freelancers in between. Seyed is involved from origin to launch, together with Clark, our own team of AI operators. We work remotely and fully in the open: you see every step and learn how everything works. The full approach takes about eight weeks.
Work that shows it
Questions we often get
Are you an Amsterdam agency?
Weblyfe was founded in Amstelveen, right next to Amsterdam, and has worked with founders in and around the city since 2018. We work remotely, so the origin session and every check-in happen live over video.
Do you work with startups or only established companies?
Both. What matters is a founder with a story and the will to build. Whether you are just starting or already have a team, the origin session is the same starting point.
Can our in-house dev team take over the site after launch?
Yes. We build in Next.js, a widely used framework most developers can work with. The code is yours and there is no closed platform in between.
How much does web design at Weblyfe cost?
We have no price list, because every project is shaped around what you need. After a free call you get a proposal covering your brand, site and systems.
Do you build English or multilingual sites?
Yes. Many Amsterdam companies work internationally, and our own site runs in Dutch and English too. We develop your brand voice in both languages, so it never reads like a translation.
How soon can we start?
We only take on a few projects at a time, so Seyed can be involved in each one himself. On the free call you will hear when we can begin.
