AI agents for business: a colleague, not a chatbot
The term AI agent now gets used for everything. A chat widget on a website, a script that sorts email, an assistant you have to prompt every single time. No wonder many business owners no longer know what to do with it.
We mean something concrete by it. To us, an AI agent is a permanent team member with its own name, who picks up work on its own inside your existing systems, remembers what it learns about your business and asks before doing anything that matters. That team member is called Clark.
How Clark began
Clark started inside Weblyfe. We built a team of AI agents to run our own company: one for direction and planning, one for code and deploys, one for marketing, one for infrastructure, one for money. Clients saw it and asked for the same thing.
So we turned it into a product: getclark.app. Today Clark operators run the back office of real service businesses, around the clock. We built the product, the brand and the site. That site went on to win at the 19th Web Excellence Awards.
What an AI team member does for you
Every customer gets their own Clark on its own isolated machine that we host. It reads the inbox, follows up on leads in WhatsApp, prepares invoices, keeps the calendar and drafts content overnight.
- Works in the channels your customers already use: WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack and email
- Keeps a company memory that stays current and belongs to your business
- Reachable with a message or a voice note, wherever you are
- Shows everything in a dashboard: tasks, history and what is waiting on your approval
- Picks up skills other Clarks learn elsewhere, while your company memory stays yours
Why trust is everything here
An agent that works on its own has to be reviewable. Anything that cannot be undone waits for the owner's approval. Every action is logged and can be reversed. You can always see what Clark did and why.
We use the same principle in custom work. Beauty Specialist is an AI specialist on a salon's website that answers questions, runs a short skin scan and forwards every request to the salon, also outside opening hours. The agent advises, the salon decides.
Clark or custom?
For most service businesses Clark is the fastest route: an AI team member we set up around your tools. If you have your own product or platform where AI is a core part, we build it custom, the way we built PrivaNotify from concept through to a full rebrand. On a free call we work out what fits.
Work that shows it
Questions we often get
What is the difference between an AI agent and a chatbot?
A chatbot waits for a question and answers it. An AI agent picks up work on its own, like following up a lead or preparing an invoice, inside your existing systems. It does not just respond, it acts.
Will an AI agent replace jobs?
With our customers, Clark mostly takes over the work nobody wants to do: following up, reminding, keeping records. That leaves people time for the work clients come for.
Do I need to be technical to work with Clark?
No. You talk to Clark like a colleague, over WhatsApp, Telegram or Slack. We handle the setup, personally and around the tools you already have.
Where does Clark run and who sees my data?
Every Clark runs on its own isolated machine that we host. Its memory belongs to your business and is not shared with other customers.
Does Weblyfe use AI agents itself?
Yes, every day. Our own agency runs on the same infrastructure: agents write proposals, track projects and keep the inbox in order. That is where Clark came from.
What does an AI team member cost?
On getclark.app you can see how Clark works and how to start. For custom work around your brand and systems we have no price list, and you get a proposal after a free call.
